Scholarships 2025 International Undergraduate Talents Program at Zhejiang University

In order to draw in top-achieving international students for undergraduate studies, Zhejiang University (ZJU) has started its 2025 International Undergraduate Talents Program. The International Education College at the university is spearheading this program, which aims to increase the variety of its student body and solidify ZJU's standing as a preeminent academic institution worldwide. ZJU hopes to establish a more dynamic and multicultural learning environment that benefits all students and teachers by concentrating on hiring top talent from around the globe.

The initiative asks high schools all across the world to suggest exceptional applicants who fit certain requirements. Participating schools must have a solid educational record and show a dedication to student growth. By November 25, 2024, they must apply for recommendation credentials, making sure they meet ZJU's requirements for high-quality instruction. Non-Chinese nationals with stellar academic records who demonstrate a strong interest in Chinese culture are required to be recommended pupils. To be eligible for consideration, students from foreign schools must place in the top 5% of their class, while those attending Chinese high schools should preferably place in the top 10%.

By December 15, 2024, schools that have been given permission to recommend students must turn in their candidate lists. After reviewing these applications—which can involve tests or interviews—ZJU will make its final decisions by January 15, 2025. The Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship, which covers tuition and living expenses while studying in China, will now give preference to admitted students, especially those enrolling in programs taught in Chinese. In addition to drawing in top talent, this program advances ZJU's overarching objective of raising its academic profile internationally and encouraging cross-border cooperation.
